MME FINE ART  is a prominent New York City based gallery specializing in American paintings from 1860 – to the present day with a focus on American Impressionism and Realism. Since 2004, MME Fine Art has worked with collectors and important private institutions placing outstanding examples by such artists as William Merrit Chase, Willard Metcalf, Severin Roesen, Albert Bierstadt, Jasper Cropsey, Edward Hopper, Andrew Wyeth and many others.

With 50 years of combined experience, New York City based Elizabeth Stallman and Mindy Moak, have earned a reputation for being their clients trusted advisors and stand behind every painting they offer. Each piece has been carefully selected to maintain the highest level of quality, they believe that their investment is ultimately their client’s investment and is always protected by this standard of excellence. In their duplex Penthouse located just off Madison Avenue, steps away from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, their clients can view their collection in an elegant, private home-like setting.

Mindy Moak
Mindy Moak - MME Fine Art Ms. Moak has been an American paintings specialist and dealer for more than thirty years, having begun her career at the Adams Davidson Gallery in Washington, D.C. at the same time the landmark exhibition, American Light: The Luminist Movement 1850-1875, opened at the National Gallery of Art and reinvigorated appreciation for this era of American art. Prior to co-founding MME Fine Art, she also held prominent positions at Kennedy Galleries and Godel & Co. in New York.

Elizabeth Stallman - MME Fine ArtElizabeth Stallman
Ms. Stallman began her twenty-year art career in Sotheby's press office, and then became the New York-based sales agent for the Albany Gallery while studying American paintings at Columbia University and Sotheby's Institute. In 1994 she became a Vice President of Godel & Co., where she served for ten years before co-founding MME Fine Art.

Hugh McColl, Jr.
Hugh McColl Jr. - MME Fine Art Mr. McColl, an avid collector of American paintings and patron to the arts is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Bank of America and has co-founded several successful businesses since his retirement in 2001. He is active in numerous philanthropic endeavors, including the McColl Center for Visual Arts, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Habitat for Humanity.

Gallery Associate

Cole Sartore
Cole Sartore - MME Fine Art Mr. Sartore first noticed his love for art and architecture after visiting the state capitol in his hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska in grade school. Since then he has continued to appreciate art and architecture thru buying and selling American art as well as restoring an 1878 Second French Empire-Style home. He is currently finishing up his degree in Anthropology and Art History at the University of Nebraska and plans on continuing his career in the art world. Prior to joining MME Fine Art, he worked for National Geographic as a field assistant and assistant photo editor for National Geographic YourShot. He’s also worked for several different fine art galleries specializing in American Art.

Director of Research

Margot Chandler
Mindy Moak - MME Fine Art Ms. Chandler's strong background in art history began at Philips Academy Andover, and continued at the Fine Arts Department of New York University and the Institute of Fine Arts. Before joining MME Fine Art, she worked at several galleries specializing in the field, and at the Smithsonian Archives of American Art.
